These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Word Counter application ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Word Counter is an iOS application that helps you measure text against word and character limits. Features may include live counting, preset limits, reading and speaking time estimates, OCR, file import, saved history, and export tools.

2. Count Accuracy and Platform Rules

The App provides practical counting tools, not a guarantee of acceptance by every third-party platform. You understand and agree that:

• Different platforms may define words, characters, spacing, links, hashtags, emojis, or formatting differently.
• Counts shown in the App may differ from counts used by external products, forms, or publishing systems.
• You are responsible for verifying final submissions where exact third-party platform rules matter.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the App in a way that violates applicable law, privacy rights, or intellectual property rights
• Import, scan, or share content that you do not have the right to process
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App except as permitted by applicable law
• Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions, limits, or ad-supported functionality

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Free tier: Includes unlimited live counting, built-in presets, up to 25 saved entries, 3 OCR or photo imports per day, and up to 5 custom presets.
• Premium Monthly: $1.99/month for unlimited saved history, unlimited OCR and imports, unlimited custom presets, full export options, and zero ads.
• Premium Annual: $9.99/year with a 7-day free trial.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
• We may change pricing or plan structure in the future with reasonable notice where required by law.

5. Local Storage, OCR, and Imports

The App may store saved entries, presets, and preferences locally on your device. OCR and text analysis are designed to run on device. You are responsible for the content you type, import, scan, save, share, or export through the App.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Bulpara Inc and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR PERFECTLY ALIGNED WITH EVERY THIRD-PARTY COUNTING RULESET.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Submission failures caused by differences between App counts and third-party platform rules
• Lost, deleted, or overwritten text or preset data
• Import, OCR, or export issues related to file quality or unsupported formats
• Subscription or service interruptions outside our reasonable control

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the App in a harmful or unlawful manner.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
